Personally, I hope for Mark Sanford as a candidate that at least can lead the GOP on the fiscal track, of not only reducing taxes, but also reducing government expenditure. As a Norwegian, I should be looking mostly at the foreign policy of the candidate, but I believe that any aspiring candidate for the GOP will be in line of sight of my views as to what a US foreign policy should be. <BR/><BR/>On ideology, I have a problem totally backing the GOP as a party. I am no social conservative, but I like the GOP's traditional view on fiscal policy. In a difficult battle between the two, I have to say that the latter wins.<BR/><BR/>Still, I was one of the few that actually liked Palin in the recent election, here in Norway.
